Biography

Angelique Bates, a California native of Haitian/Bahamian/Indigenous descent, graduated from high school at

the age of fifteen. This talented woman is a veteran when it comes to the entertainment industry. Angelique, who is a member of SAG, AFTRA, and ASCAP, has been in show business since the tender age of nine months in front of and behind the scenes. You may remember her from the #1 hit television show "All That" on Nickelodeon as one of the original cast members for 2 Seasons. Angelique's episodes are currently being shown on a daily-to-weekly basis worldwide. Her worldwide fans are ages 3 years old and up.

2023 has been off to a great start. Angelique is working on new projects and has projects releasing this year. She is also an acting coach and spiritual life coach. When it comes to acting she has been trained by the very best. From Marla Gibbs to Art Evans to Chip Fields to Wendy Raquel Robinson to the late Denise Dowse just to name a few. Angelique re-launched her podcast show "The Evening Showdown: Reloaded which she produces and directs. In 2021 Angelique was awarded a Youtube plaque celebrating over 200,000 views for an international single she is featured on for children. She was also the National Celebrity Spokesperson for S04DV (Strike Out 4 Domestic Violence) as she is a Domestic Abuse, Rape, & Child Abuse survivor. Angelique has worked hands on with My Friends House, Feed The Children, Habitat Of Humanity (LA), Hashtag Lunch Bag (ATL), La Mission (LA) and Union Rescue Mission (LA), to name a few. Angelique also participates in a lot of events that support our brave troops.

Angelique returned to the screen for iconic

appearances on Comedy Centrals "Eric & Tim's Awesome Show, Russ Parr's motion picture & now on BET "35 and Ticking" starring Kevin Hart, Mike Epps, Meagan Good, & Tamala Jones. Keep an eye out for Angelique in a few upcoming tv and film projects in 2021. She starred in the film "Bitter" and "Puzzled" which is at festivals, Amazon Prime's "The Assist", and Tami Roman's "Bonnet Chronicles" on Tidal.

At age sixteen, Angelique was mentored by Damon Wayans & Dave Chappelle and performed her first paid professional stand-up performance at the Laugh Factory

hosted by Jay Mohr which was covered by Entertainment Tonight. Angelique Bates is beyond a triple threat. This woman is simply extraordinary. She acts, models, dances, choreographs, an humanitarian, acting coach, motivational speaker, lyricist, comedian, writer, practices martial arts, plays sports, and producer/director, and works behind the scenes.
